Nestled in the natural beauty of the wild, the Leopard Lair is one of Rajasthan's leading luxury jungle resorts on the edge of the legendary Jawai Dam. Leopard Lear, conceived 14 years back, was an initiative by Sriji Arvind Singh Mewar to create the jungle lodge with animal conservation as a prime motive. The resort also receives continuing support and suggestions from HH Maharaja Gaj Singh ji of Jodhpur due to which Leopard's Lair is able to provide unique customized, and the world renowned Rajput hospitality in the village of Bera. The perfect base to explore the territory of the regal leopard, where sighting the wild beast is very common. While it is pleasant in the day, the mornings and nights are much cooler. The best time to visit the resort is from October to March.

The resort setting is picture perfect with the dramatic water course and sun kissed Aravali range. Bera is an abode of a number of mammals, birds and vast and varied vegetation which include the evasive Leopard, the mighty Bluebull,the Crocodile, the ever so mischeivious Hyena, the graceful Pelican, the Greylag Goose, Robin Accentor, Demoiselle Crane, Barheaded Goose to name a few. In the expansive vistas, one can witness the green forests of Mount Abu, the dry grasslands of the desert and the thorn forests of Aravali.

Accommodation
Covered with slate roofs, all the stone cottages are positioned to ensure complete privacy. The ambience of the stone built resort at the jungle reserve Leopard lair means sheer luxury amidst pristine wilderness. The brightness and comfort of the interiors add to the otherwise intrepid and strong exterior. The experience is made more comfortable by the many modern amenities which one can avail of. Excellent room service, the kind hospitality of the staff under the guidance of the Thakur Devi Singh and his wife Divyani Singh makes the stay a very pleasurable one.

The residence of Thakur Devi Singh is commonly used by the guests for recreational activities .They may also use the reading room as well as access the internet from there.

The food served celebrates the wealth of Indian traditions: Delicious Indian and Rajasthani cuisines prepared by the family chefs in the authentic style. Guests can choose from the luxurious European breakfast or the food of the local fare, drink espresso coffee or "chachs". Food can be served in the shady varandhas of the main lodge, the dinning room or amidst the wild terrain while on jungle safari. Leopard lair offers the guest a swimming pool along with a spa(coming up this season) One can enjoy a haircut from the local barber and massages from the village masseur with his age old healing techniques to relax and rejuvenate your soul.
